Wheel Care
Your Titan Force Wheels are a high-performance investment in your vehicle’s aesthetics and safety. To maintain their factory-fresh appearance and ensure the longevity of the finish, regular and proper maintenance is required. Failure to follow these guidelines may void your finish warranty.
THE GOLDEN RULE: CLEAN WHEN COOL
NEVER clean your wheels while they are hot from driving. Spraying cold water or cleaning agents onto a hot wheel can cause "thermal shock," leading to permanent surface spotting, cracking of the clear coat, or warping of the brake rotors. Always allow your wheels to cool to the touch before beginning the cleaning process.
GENERAL CLEANING INSTRUCTIONS
For all Titan Force finishes, the safest and most effective cleaning method is:

Rinse: Use a high-pressure hose to remove loose dirt, grit, and surface debris.

Mild Soap: Use a dedicated car wash soap or a mild pH-balanced dish soap mixed with water.

Soft Tools: Use a soft microfiber wash mitt or a non-abrasive soft-bristle wheel brush. Never use scouring pads, steel wool, or abrasive sponges.

Dry: Immediately dry your wheels with a clean, soft microfiber towel to prevent water spots caused by mineral deposits in your water supply.
FINISH-SPECIFIC CARE
1. Painted, Powder Coated & Clear Coated Finishes
Most Titan Force wheels feature a protective clear coat. Treat this finish exactly like the paint on your car.

Protection: After cleaning, apply a high-quality non-abrasive car wax or a specialized wheel sealant to help repel brake dust and road salt.

Avoid: Stay away from "All-In-One" wheel cleaners that contain acids or heavy alkalines, as they can eat through the clear coat over time.
2. Chrome & PVD Finishes
Chrome requires frequent cleaning to prevent pitting and oxidation caused by brake dust and moisture.

Care: Clean with mild soap and water.

Polish: Use a dedicated chrome polish and a soft cloth to maintain the mirror-like shine.

Winter Care: If you drive in areas where road salt is used, clean your chrome wheels daily. Salt is the primary cause of chrome corrosion.
3. Polished Aluminum (Bare Metal)
Bare polished wheels (without clear coat) are high-maintenance and will naturally oxidize over time.

Maintenance: These wheels require regular re-polishing with a fine metal polish paste to restore their luster.

Disclaimer: Oxidation and surface finish issues on bare polished wheels are not covered under warranty.
4. Matte & Satin Finishes

Warning: Do NOT wax or polish matte/satin wheels. Doing so will create uneven shiny spots and ruin the flat aesthetic of the wheel.

Cleaning: Use only soap and water. Ensure all soap residue is rinsed off thoroughly.
THE "PROHIBITED" LIST (TO PROTECT YOUR WARRANTY)
To ensure your warranty remains valid, avoid the following:

Automatic Car Washes: Many commercial car washes use "acid-based" tire cleaners and stiff plastic brushes that will scratch and dull your wheel finish. Hand wash only is highly recommended.

Harsh Chemicals: Avoid any cleaners containing Hydrofluoric or Phosphoric acids. If a cleaner says "Color Changing" or "Iron Remover," use with extreme caution and never let it dry on the wheel.

Steam Cleaners: High-heat steam can cause clear coat delamination.

Brake Dust Buildup: Brake dust is highly corrosive. If left on the wheel for extended periods, it can "pit" the surface, creating permanent black spots that cannot be cleaned off.
WINTER DRIVING & ROAD SALT
Road salts and liquid de-icers (magnesium chloride) are extremely aggressive. If you operate your vehicle in winter climates, we recommend:

Applying a ceramic coating or heavy-duty wheel sealant before the first snow.

Rinsing wheels weekly to remove salt buildup.

Considering a dedicated set of "winter wheels" if you have high-mirror chrome or polished finishes.
